How each job position has helped you in your career?
Each institution has different processes with different business models, but the strategies to apply financial management techniques is one thing in which we work with integrated vision of sustainable development.
What has been the most interesting work for you? How you handle it?
Each professional work experience enriches us, allowing us to learn. Life is a constant learning. "Autoridad Portuaria de Manta" allowed me to get finished my professional career formation. “Ministerio de Transportes y Obras Pública” allowed me to assume a role of professional responsibility and take an external view away from my city. “GAD of Manta” and the "Empresa Si Vivienda” allowed me to contribute to the development of my city and also to have a sense of accomplishment satisfaction of the local coordinating with multilateral funding agencies. Finally CFN is allowing me to support productive sectors of my province.
What do you think is more important, to have the experience or to have high qualifications?
The experience and academic education go hand in hand, both accompany in all work fields. As always pointing it out, experience is something that professionals should develop over time.
In your last job, what were the most important achievements that you got?

Increasing the financial resources of GAD Manta by 150%.

Get the first credit of $100 Millions with the World Bank to GAD Manta.

Decent housing in a housing plan with basic services and adequate infrastructure was fulfilling a dream for poor people.
Would you be willing to change your country or city as well if required?
Improving, Innovating, be creative, facilitators, development direction is what I like, whenever changes are good, and continuous improvements are crucial for developments in the countries and cities.
Could you give some recommendations for young people who are graduating in the commercial and financial field?
Perseverance, hard work, dedication, a development vision, sacrifice, faith, hope and dream, not let anyone truncate your dream of being a good professional, everything is in us, of course at the beginning is not easy, because we will find a lot of obstacles and hard proofs, but with love to work is how you will be able to face it, and always remember that the real satisfactions are in the end of the journey. LOVE and PASSION in everything we do is our best weapon.
